Who we help

Accountants for limited companies.

We take the Companies House and HMRC deadlines off your plate, from year-end accounts and Corporation Tax to payroll and your director’s tax return.

A limited company is a separate legal entity with its own filing calendar, and as a director you are responsible for meeting it. We keep the company compliant and help you take money out of it in a tax-efficient way.

What you need to stay on top of

  • Annual accounts

File with Companies House within 9 months of your company’s year end.

  • Corporation Tax

Pay 9 months and 1 day after your year end, and file the CT600 return within 12 months.

  • Confirmation statement

Confirm your company details with Companies House at least once every 12 months.

  • Directors’ tax

Directors often need a Self Assessment return for dividends and other income.

  • Payroll and VAT

Run PAYE if the company pays salaries, including yours, and file VAT returns if registered.

Frequently asked questions

When is Corporation Tax due?

For most companies, payment is due 9 months and 1 day after the end of the accounting period, and the CT600 return is due 12 months after it. We plan for both so there are no surprises.

What if we miss the Companies House deadline?

Companies House charges an automatic late filing penalty, starting at £150 for a private company up to one month late and rising the later the accounts are. We track your deadline from day one.

Can you take over from our current accountant?

Yes. We contact your previous accountant for the handover and pick up from your last filed accounts.
